At the call of 3-2-1 go, 1 male and 1 female will begin their 20 db hang clean and jerks and 10 burpee box jump overs. At the completion of the round teammates will tag and male 2 and female 2 will begin their round. This cycle will continue for 8 minutes.
Although the teams are working with 2 athletes at the same time, they are not dependent upon them to continue the next round. For example if male 1 completes a round and tags male 2 to begin. Male 2 does not have to wait for female 1 to finish before he begins. Each pair (m/m f/f) are working to finish as many reps as possible.
After completion of the 8 minute AMRAP there will be a 1 minute rest.
After 1 minute rest. Teams will have 8 minutes to establish a 1 rep max Snatch. You may power snatch, squat snatch, or split snatch. There will be a male and female bar setup at each station.
DB Hang Clean & Jerk: Pick up the dumbbell to the hang position. Clean the dumbbell to your shoulder by extending through the legs and hips as you pull the dumbbell towards your shoulder. You will then press the barbell overhead with a straight arm, straight legs, and hips extended.
Burpee Box Jump Over: This starts with athlete facing the box. Athlete will kick both feet back at the same time bringing their chest and thighs to the ground. The athlete will then push themselves back up to a standing position. (both feet move together at the same time, no stoping up.) Then athlete will jump up and over the box. That's one rep.
Snatch: Athlete will start with barbell on the ground and with a single motion be lifted overhead. You may power snatch, squat snatch, or split snatch.
